Telehealth for Speech Pathology
We understand that it can be difficult to access therapies in person due to time restrictions and other commitments. That’s why Northside Speech Pathology also offers Telehealth sessions as a convenient option for families who cannot attend our Clinic or In-Home visits. Our certified speech pathologists are highly experienced in providing quality care via teleconference, and both parents and children have the opportunity to connect with our therapists from the comfort of their own home.
At Northside Speech Pathology, we believe in empowering your little one through effective communication. Let’s get them on the path to success today!

What to Expect
Initial Sessions
If required, a comprehensive assessment will be carried out, including discussion and observation of your child while they complete a range of age appropriate tasks. Detailed written report provided approximately 1-2 weeks after initial assessment.
Goal setting
We work together with you and your child to formulate goals that are meaningful, functional and build on your child's strengths.
Therapy Sessions
Sessions include a review of homework and current progress. This is followed by play based therapy tasks that engage your child based on their interests. The end of the session includes a chance for you to provide feedback and discuss tasks to practise with your child during the week. This ensures progress is as fast as possible. Sessions will last for 45 min or 1 hour, depending on your child's needs. Billing and invoicing will be completed on the spot at the end of the session. Card payments accepted at the end of the session.
