Kiersten
Early Intervention Specialist
Kiersten is an early intervention specialist, and registered behaviour support practitioner. She has over 20 years’ experience in supporting children with developmental delays and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has a BA (Psychology), qualifications in Applied Behaviour Analysis and is a certified PEERS and Tuning into Kids facilitator.
Kiersten is passionate about taking a holistic approach to therapy, and believes in using evidence-based approaches to develop and implement functional play-based programs which focus on increasing emotional resilience, attention skills, play and social skills, and cognitive development.
Kiersten has developed and delivered behaviour support training to allied health, early childhood and primary school educators. She loves collaborating with other health professionals, educators and families to create and implement strategies that promote independence and inclusion across all settings.
